Get inspired for your teaching during the Strengthen-Your-Education-Week!

The ninth edition of the Strengthen-Your-Education-Week will start soon! Finally we can meet again on location and participate together with colleagues on campus in this Strengthen-Your-Education-Week (VJOW). Come to the various sessions in the city centre and at the Utrecht Science Park to meet colleagues and get inspired together!

Twice a year, during the VJOW, UU teachers can follow a wide variety of workshops and inspiration sessions aimed at strengthening their own teaching. The coming summer edition will take place from 27 June to 1 July 2022 and will largely be organised on location. You can register using this form.

Workshops and inspiration sessions

The week will kick off with a keynote by Maarten Vansteenkiste, development psychologist at Ghent University. He will share with us the most important insights on motivation, vaccination and well-being from the Motivation Barometer, a large scale and long-lasting monitoring study, and reflect on the cooperation between science and policy.

Would you like to refresh your knowledge about the various blended learning tools? Are you curious how to carry out your own innovation project? Or do you need more skills for teaching in front of a camera? This and more will all be discussed during the VJOW.

There is also opportunity for a little more relaxation. For example, come to the faculty lunch or join colleagues on a guided tour of the Botanical Gardens at the Utrecht Science Park.
