Leon Klomp and the Department of Social Geography and Planning are inextricably linked. The entire process – from bachelor student to lecturer at Utrecht University – has shaped Leon into an inspired, enthusiastic, inspiring and accessible lecturer. A teacher who likes to connect with his students and other disciplines. Former colleagues whisper that, despite his departure, his spirit still roams the Uithof. Leon currently works as a programme and policy officer at the NWO.
